On the way to Hydra, we stopped at Epidaurus.

The ruins were intriguing, the flowers blooming, and the setting was spectacular.

Hydra was a quaint and relaxed island.  There were times I thought we were the only tourists around. Walking the island we continued to bump into each other, which made the island feel like our own. Donkeys are the mode of transportation for freight and children.  There are two vehicles on the island: a garbage truck and an emergency vehicle.

After our restful stay in Hydra we took the hydrofoil back to Athens, went to the archeological museum, had a free afternoon, ate our last group dinner and, essentially, said our goodbyes.  Most were off to other places the next day.
